HR Generalist - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Working closely with our Innovative Medicines Groups across our Cambridge sites, you’ll use your HR skills and experience to engage with and support our Line Managers on a range of initiatives as they respond to their priorities, challenges and opportunities.

This is an exciting, varied role where no two days will be the same! You could be providing Employee Relations coaching in the morning and running Line Manager training in the afternoon, as well as supporting the various activities in the HR Calendar. You’ll work closely with the My HR Team who provide front line HR advice and guidance to all UK employees, ensuring we can offer proactive and customer focused support. And your help will be crucial in preparing our IMED groups for the move into our new, state-of-the-art Corporate Headquarters on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

Although this position is initially offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis, we have significant growth plans for our Human Resources Team in Cambridge, so this could be the starting point for a long-term career and an excellent spring board to becoming an HR Business Partner.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience


- Degree qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative, with a team focussed working style
- Personally credible, and able to influence and manage stakeholders
- Proactive, and able to prioritise activities and multi-task to meet goals and deadlines
- Proven track record of success in an HR Generalist role, or at least two of the following HR disciplines: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Performance & Reward, Learning & Development, Organisation Design, Organisation Development


- CIPD Qualified
- Experience of working in multi-national company
