This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Analyst to join an International FTSE 250 company based in Birmingham close to New Street Station.
You will be responsible for providing high quality QA and Test support to independently assess a number of business-critical systems for quality in line with objectives agreed with the Senior Test Lead.
The role will be a mix of manual and automated testing in both Agile and Waterfall environments depending on the specific projects you are working on.
You will perform risk assessment and you will produce test documentation such as test plans, test cases and test scripts which will define the scope, resources and steps needed for the testing.
You will prepare and execute test plans as well as supervise test resources in developing and executing appropriate tests for all projects and change requests.
There are a number of large projects scheduled for this year and next and you will have the opportunity to manage a number of testing projects yourself after a suitable period of training and settling into the role.
The majority of the testing will be web/browser based so we would expect you to have strong experience in this area.
Key Experience Required
You will have at least three to five years of commercial testing experience within both automated and manual testing.
You will be of Graduate caliber with at least foundation level ISEB accreditation.
You will have significant experience in structured software testing, including functional and non-functional testing, system level testing and integration testing gained in a web based environment.
You will also need to have advanced user knowledge and experience of using performance test tools for effective test management and reporting such as J-meter, J-unit etc.
