AutoCAD Electrical Designer (Telemetry / Instrumentation) - Birmingham
AUTOCAD ELECTRICAL DESIGNER (TELEMETRY / INSTRUMENTATION). My client, established in 1988, provide telemetry systems and instrumentation to the Water Utilities sector. They have a current requirement for an AutoCAD Electrical Designer to work out of their Birmingham offices with an occasional need to travel to sites across the UK.
The role will entail working with a team of engineers and project managers to design telemetry control panels to the correct wiring regulations and delivering wiring schematics and drawing packs for the start of the manufacturing process. You will also be requires to attend meetings with project managers and assist in on site surveys.
You will have an AutoCAD qualification or similar, have good PLC Logic experience and be proficient in creating control panel manuals and circuit designs. Having experience of PLC Programming (Allen Bradley), knowledge of telemetry and 3D modelling experience would be advantageous.
Remuneration: £25,000PA Basic Salary (Negotiable for the right candidate) Overtime available Company vehicle Flexible working hours 20 days’ holiday bank holidays
The Ideal Candidate: -8 or more years total experience working as an AutoCAD Electrical Designer. -Telemetry experience. -PLC Programming (Allen Bradley) -3D modelling experience. -Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position. -Experience working as an AutoCAD Electrical Designer within the last 5 Years. -Industry relevant training listed on their CV (Such as NVQ, City & Guilds, electronics qualifications). -Industry Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on their CV. -Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
Essential Requirements: -Demonstrable experience working as an AutoCAD Electrical Designer. -AutoCAD circuit design or similar. -Experience of control panel or low voltage system design. -Relevant experience working as an AutoCAD Electrical Designer such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work. -Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator) -Driving license holder
