Insurer Relationship Executive - Birmingham
We are working exclusively with an insurance provider and seeking to secure a newly designed position for Personal Lines Business Development Manager. You will report into the Head of Strategic Development and hold responsibility for growth of the Personal Lines account as well as management of 3 other Account Managers. Your overall responsibility will be to build a highly successful and motivated team who consistently excel in achieving the set company business goals. You also will have your own accounts to build and manage through implementing new lead sales and marketing activity for the Personal Lines sector. You will be encouraged to participate in industry meetings, where appropriate, on subjects relating to both market and development issues.
We are seeking candidates that have strong, relevant experience in an Insurance company/broker or insurance related business development role. Comprehensive knowledge of personal and commercial lines insurance. Managing high performing teams. Understanding of the intermediary market and understanding the distribution channel. Broad understanding of regulatory matters and experience of medium to large scale commercial negotiations (£250K).
