The Role:

To lead and manage a Team of Assessors to maximise contract performance, deliver quality provision and exceed the expectations of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the performance of your delivery team, providing coaching, development, action plans and training to ensure the team continuously ‘out-perform’.
• Manage the requirements of apprentice frameworks and to ensure that programme delivery maximises full framework achievement. Ensuring that effective systems are in place for recording learners progress towards completion of each part of the framework and also that the frameworks are completed on time.
• You will be required to monitor the progress of SASW frameworks against set KPIs and financial targets and deal with any issues that arise.
• Managing team of Assessors across Wales and setting targets with Assessors to ensure both financial and contractual obligations are met and exceeded.
• Maximising contract performance by fully understanding contractual obligations and performance targets.
• Ensuring that all contracts are run in accordance with external and internal procedures, e.g. achieving low risk external and internal audits and accurate and timely claims.
• Full P&L responsibility for operational area of responsibility
• Effectively plan and control income and expenditure to ensure a profitable business by maximising contract performance.
• Recruit, manage, develop and maintain discipline of staff.
• Identify growth opportunities by sourcing and securing new leads in order to expand income streams.
• Responsibility for health, safety and wellbeing of staff and clients, in line with company policy.
• Maintain and develop positive internal and external communications.
• Promote equality of opportunity for staff and clients in all activities.
• Attendance at meetings, seminars and training sessions in pursuit of continuous development.
• Encourage and ensure a quality culture for continuous improvement.
• Assessor Manager needs to remain flexible. Duties can vary at times dependent upon contractual and/or organisational requirements and location.
• Seek ways to improve operational performance.
• Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested.
