ECOMMERCE EXECUTIVE

£20,000 - £22,000

Currently recruiting on behalf of a sports distribution company based in Derby. They are now looking to expand their team so are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Executive to join.

You will be supporting the Marketing team with the management and development of the company’s website, intranet and online marketing.

Great opportunity for a candidate with an interest in the sport industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Further developing the existing websites content, appearance and functionality

  • Reporting of bugs and problems with websites to external agency

  • Creating detailed specifications for new websites and enhancements of existing websites

  • Project management of all website related projects

  • Working closely with brand managers and marketing manager to implement new (branded) websites using the existing content management system

  • Creating additional web pages or simple websites such as a team blog as and when required

  • Development and implantation of online data capture forms and pages

  • Managing integration between websites and the email marketing system

  • Making sure all online content is consistent, adheres to brand guidelines and is legal and correct

  • Preparing statistical information on web traffic and usage to support timely and informed decision-making

  • Make suggestions to enhance websites based on existing circumstances, web stat reports, market trends and technological advancements

  • Use marketing plans and marketing calendar to create relevant ideas and information for website content.



IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience in writing for the web or marketing

  • Experience working on an intranet and or external websites

  • Experience using online analytic systems such as Google analytics

  • Understanding of new media and digital tactics

  • Experience using a content management system

  • Word Press experience

  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator

  • Basic understanding of HTML

  • Understanding of SEO
