The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Ford & Stanley is the first step on the ladder in an individual's career in recruitment. A sales based role that will combine candidate management, developing new client relationships whilst learning their industry and the basics of recruitment - essentially developing a strong platform and foundation on which to build a highly successful career.

Training and development:

Introduction to the position:

The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Ford & Stanley is the first step on the ladder in an individual's career in recruitment. A sales based role that will combine candidate management, developing new client relationships whilst learning their industry and the basics of recruitment.

Main responsibilities:

* Source and interview candidates that are relevant to your sector and clients
* Sell opportunities to candidates and sell candidates to clients
* Generate sales opportunities by identifying and following up on leads gained from candidates, clients and networking events
* Assist senior team members in the advertising and selection process for vacancies allocated from existing clients
* Develop your own business knowledge
* Hit and achieve daily, weekly, monthly & yearly sales and productivity targets.

Skills and competencies:

* Excellent communication skills - face to face & telephone
* Commercial sales ability
* Ability & desire to learn and progress
* It Literate - Microsoft packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)
* Emotionally intelligent
* Resilience - capable of dealing with the highs and lows of recruitment
* Approaches challenges with a logical mind-set
