Multi Skilled Engineer - Leicester, Leicestershire
My client is one of the largest manufactures of pork and cooked meat in the United Kingdom and produces bacon, sausages, pies and fried meet products. They are currently looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer to work within one of their sites based in Leicestershire.
You will be required to ensure that PPM’s are carried out to maintain and improve the equipment performance and maximise product output whilst maintaining product safety.
On a day to day basis your duties will include:
• Maintaining and adjusting the equipment to ensure optimum output • Strip machines and make tolling head changes • Carry out basis and planned maintenance • Fault find and repair machines • Recommend machine modifications • Maintain and improve hygiene standards
Ideal candidates must have previous experience within a manufacturing environment and preferably a background within meat. You must also have PLC experience and be multi skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical with qualifications to support.
