Training Event Administrator - Leicester

Mercia is part of Wilmington PLCs Finance Division.

Main Purpose of Role:

This key role provides a comprehensive administration service to ensure all training events are properly organised, so that clients and trainers have a smooth and efficient training experience.

Communicating with venues and clients to ensure all needs are identified and provided for, the postholder will also confirm course and venue details, check the venue contracts and arrange accommodation and transport for speakers as well as checking correct course materials are provided. Occasionally there will be a need to attend a course to help ensure its success.

Skills and Experience Required:

Good all round general administrative experience is required, including sound Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Familiarity with updating databases is desirable while an excellent telephone manner is essential, along with good letter writing skills and a high degree of attention to detail. As well as all of the above qualities, the successful candidate will be personable, reliable, punctual and have a proven ability to work to a high standard under pressure.
