Farm Inputs Administrator - Sandy, Central Bedfordshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the inputs team based at Sandy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pro-active administration for the Southern Fertiliser team based in Sandy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail with a strong customer focus also possess strong planning, organisational and problem solving skills. Working with the team but also happy to plan their own workload are important attributes.

Roles and responsibilities
Administration
· To ensure all Fertiliser sales orders are keyed accurately, within agreed timescales.
· To key purchase orders accurately and in a timely fashion.
· Release numbers added accurately and in a timely manner.
· To resolve queries where possible or direct to appropriate person.
· To complete credit and reinvoices once requested by customers within 48 hours.
· Complaint database maintenance and administration from initial complaint to resolution and settlement.
· To provide administrative support to the Fertiliser commercial and technical team.
· Stock reconciliation for local Fertiliser stores.
· Order book reconciliation.
· Cover other administration colleagues in their absence.
· To run position report weekly.
· Set up new products including MSDS from suppliers.
· Maintain a library of MSDS for all fertiliser products.
· Confirm manual supplier invoices are correct and prep for payment.

Requirements
· A proven attention to detail
· Demonstrated customer service skills to ensure resolution of issues
· The ability to communicate with impact at every level
· The ability to deal confidently with a wide range of people in difficult circumstances
· Effective written and oral communication skills
· Possess a confident and professional telephone manner
· The ability to demonstrate effective negotiation and purchasing skills
· Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and the Internet.
· Proven Database Management Skills
· Ability to work on own initiative, making decisions, managing own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
