We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Buyer to join the RSPB Trading Team at our Headquarters to assist the Product Manager for Giftware.

This is an amazing opportunity to work for the largest wildlife conservation organisation in Europe. Here at the RSPB we strive to care for the environment and save nature. As a member of the trading team you will be helping to raise significant funds through the sale of our products for the RSPB and the wildlife it protects.
This role involves supporting the Product Manager and enabling the Giftware Team to source and develop product ranges that assist in meeting the financial and strategic objectives of the Trading business.
As Assistant Buyer you will need to be organised, a strong team player, able to interpret sales data in order to influence decisions about range development and have strong communication skills. You will also be expected to negotiate with preferred suppliers as well as liaise with internal stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be able to manage daily administrative tasks as well as ensuring that Trading databases are maintained and kept up to date. Some experience in retail procurement would be desirable but not essential. This is a good opportunity to develop skills in buying and product management.
